For Maris Pearl, I designed a high-performing Klaviyo welcome flow that seamlessly introduces new subscribers to the brand’s ethos while driving conversions.

With a 60.5% open rate, 12.4% click-through rate, and an impressive 11% conversion rate, this flow ranks in Klaviyo’s top-tier benchmark category based on industry analysis.

The three-email welcome series strategically highlights the brand’s unique selling points while maintaining a refined, ocean-inspired aesthetic:

Email 1: A personal greeting from the founder establishes an immediate connection. The welcome discount—key to driving sales—is prominently displayed in the header bar for maximum visibility. A stylised category breakdown helps guide subscribers, while a consistent footer across all emails reinforces the brand’s ethical sourcing, marine conservation efforts, and social presence.

Email 2: Customer reviews build trust and reinforce product quality. Quick-link tiles streamline navigation to key product categories, keeping engagement high. The welcome offer is subtly reiterated.

Email 3: A final reminder of the discount encourages action before it expires. This email spotlights the brand’s hero collections and further enhances credibility with press coverage highlights.

I designed the brand's abandoned cart flow that aligns with its minimalistic and elegant aesthetic while optimising conversion opportunities.

With a 50.7% open rate, 13% click-through rate, and 4.5% conversion rate, this flow also ranks in Klaviyo’s top-tier benchmark category according to industry peer analysis.

The three-email sequence strategically nurtures hesitant shoppers, reinforcing trust and encouraging them to complete their purchase:

Across all three emails, the free shipping offer is prominently called out in the header bar for immediate visibility. A streamlined top banner keeps the abandoned cart module above the fold, placing the focus on the product left behind. The copy remains subtle and non-pushy, staying true to the brand’s refined tone of voice. A custom-coded module replaces Klaviyo’s default abandoned cart block, allowing for a larger, centrally positioned product image on both desktop and mobile for maximum impact.

Email 1: A cross-selling block suggests additional products based on past browsing and purchase behaviour, while a ‘Need Help Deciding?’ section reassures hesitant shoppers.

Email 2: This follow-up capitalises on social proof, featuring a playful GIF showcasing customer reviews from social media and Trustpilot to build confidence in the brand’s quality.

Email 3: For those who still haven’t purchased, a final nudge comes in the form of a 10% discount offer. A personal note from the founder reinforces the brand’s connection with its customers, while a second cross-sell block and a press feature module further establish credibility.

I designed editable email campaign templates for Maris Pearl to ensure visually cohesive, easy-to-update emails. The core designs were created in Figma and set up directly in Klaviyo. To streamline updates, I provided fully editable Canva assets—the team’s preferred platform—allowing for easy image updates and seamless export into the Klaviyo email template.

Email template 1: This template lays the foundation for the brand’s email aesthetic, designed to hero captivating imagery while maintaining a clean, sophisticated look.

○ A versatile structure, ideal for showcasing new arrivals, product highlights, and cross-selling within categories.

Ample white space ensures a refined, high-end feel. Layouts are clean yet engaging, offering visual interest without overwhelming the design.

Live text is used for smaller copy and call-to-action buttons, blending seamlessly with the aesthetic while remaining easily editable within Klaviyo.


Email template 2: Designed for promotions and seasonal sales, this template combines dynamic elements with ease of use.

Hero and category GIFs are fully editable in Canva, with step-by-step instructions provided to the team.

Using Klaviyo’s signup form editor, I designed and built Maris Pearl’s popup form with a simple, sophisticated aesthetic that blends into the brand’s website seamlessly.

○ The custom font installed ensures a cohesive look, matching the brand’s typography for a polished, on-brand experience.

○ The colour palette was carefully chosen to integrate effortlessly with the website’s design.

○ Instead of creating separate versions for desktop and mobile, I designed a responsive layout that adapts beautifully to smaller screens—enhancing the user experience while streamlining management and reporting.

○ The form’s clean, refined design reflects the brand’s elegant identity while keeping the focus on conversion.

With a 3.15% form submission rate, Maris Pearl’s popup outperforms the jewellery industry median of 2.15%, demonstrating its effectiveness in capturing new subscribers.

Paired with the brand’s welcome flow—which has consistently outperformed industry peers since its launch—this creates a powerful onboarding experience, effectively converting new subscribers into first-time buyers.
